"Donnez leur du vin, du pain et des jeux et ils seront contents" On a eu tout ca et bien plus. Le seul bemol selon nous, c'etait la plage de l'hotel, mais allez a Negril, MargaritaVille et vous serez servis. Truc de voyageur: les taxis dans l'hotel vous demanderont une fortune pour vous y amener, mais le bus local coute $2 et un tarif de taxi normal (aller-retour) pas plus de $25. Vous voila avertis.

The place was nice looking. Although if you like being just another number then this is the place for you. It definetily is for large groups of people. As a couple we felt our needs slip away quickly when they have groups of 50 and up. Too bad really. We have vacationed in Jamaica six times, and I can definetily say we will NOT be returning to this resort.

This hotel is beautiful. The rooms are very nice, as well as spacious. Our room also had a great ocean view, and a very nice balcony. My one complaint about the room is that the A/C was terrible. The room did not get below 28 degrees C, even though the A/C was on "full blast" the whole week we were there. We asked at the front desk, and they did not seem too concerned, but said they would send someone to look at it. Not sure if anyone came, but it made no difference. The ceiling fan helped a bit, but the A/C was useless. We loved the room so much though, we didn't make a big deal of it, as we didn't want to switch rooms. The resort itself is great; so much to see and do just at the hotel. We found one week there was not enough. The a la carte restaurants are amazing, and the buffet is good, too. The breakfast menu was a little tedious, same thing every day. But lunches and dinners had amazing food.
There are a lot of bar options as well, they're everywhere. The pools are very nice too.
There are a few beaches, and they were nice but not spectacular. The sand is a little rocky. And bring water shoes, as there is a lot of rock and coral.
My other complaint about the hotel would be the front desk staff. In a whole week of being there, we got about ONE smile from them - not the friendliest bunch. They were polite enough, but didn't seem suited for positions dealing with hotel customers. They didn't seem to truly care about any problem or concern we had e.g. late checkout on our last day - they didn't even apologize that they couldn't grant this to us on our honeymoon - they were very nonchalant about the whole thing. So if you have any major problems, don't expect them to care. Other than front desk staff, the rest of the employees here are hit and miss. Some of them are very nice and genuine, others seem to just want tips and whatever else you can give them e.g. a free drink on the beach. Overall I would say the staff at other Caribbean resorts are nicer.
In spite of the few problems, the resort itself is gorgeous.

Absolutely Loved the Resort and it's people!!

Our vacation was provided by TransAt Holidays which provided us with the Imperial Club package. Flight from Toronto (CanJet Airlines) went very smoothly and on time, and transportation was waiting for us in Montego Bay.

The resort is absolutely gorgeous and impeccably maintained and wherever you look you can see staff raking, cleaning, and painting. Everyone who works there, with the exception of the front desk staff, is super friendly and make you feel welcome.

We were in building 40 which meant we were closest to Sunset Cove (the activity beach) but furthest away from everything else, which meant a bit of walking. The rooms are fantastic and housekeeping did a great job. The mini bar with soft drinks and beer was refilled daily.

The main advantage of the Imperial Club package is that you can make 5 reservations for the a-la-carte restaurants. We ate at the seafood, Indian, Asian, steak, and Mexican and each of them was great. Buffet is good as well.

Beaches are man-made, and don't measure up to the beaches in Cuba, but the scenery is lovely. Do bring water shoes due to the coral and sea urchins! We liked the fact that there is an adults-only beach and pool, although loungers in the shade there are reserved early in the morning!

We had a fantastic time and I would not hesitate to recommend this resort. We probably will not return though, but only because we prefer the ambiance of a smaller resort and tend not to go to the same place twice.

This was a wonderful trip thanks to itravel2000. The resort, the people and the food were amazing. We stayed in the 1 bedroom suite (room 3430)and having the 2 balconies both with amazing views was so nice.
The only way it could have been better was if the rooms had dressers to put your clothes in, because there was not enough hangers to hang everything and the only place to put items was in the small drawers in the nite stands, other than that, the rooms were clean and well stocked. I would go back to this resort anytime and would recommend it to all my friends and family.
So go and have fun.

Tout juste de retour d'un très beau voyage en Jamaique au Grand Palladium Lady Hamilton..que du positif. Une semaine parfaite. Le personnel extra gentil,endroit très grand propre, beaucoup de places pour se trouver un coin tranquille ou bien près de la très grande piscine où il y a plus d actions. Côté buffet : très varié, excellent
Restaurants à la carte: Très bien surtout l'Indien, pour celui de sushi faut pas s'attendre à de très bons sushis..mais ok.
Les chambres sont très belles et propres..très bon service..
J'y étais avec une copine pour la première semaine d' Avril beau et chaud.
faut pas s'attendre aux plages de Cuba, La Plage de Négril par contre est très belle.
Y aura toujours du monde pour chialer sur quoi que ce soit,certaines personnes seraient mieux de rester chez eux au lieu de toujours critiquer.J'ai voyagé beaucoup de plusieurs différentes façons et pour un resort celui ci est très très bien. Endroit parfait pour la planification de mariage.

We met friends from London and had a ball from the moment we arrived. The hotel placed us in the same villa. We went to the beaches and pools and had one of the best vacations ever. The food was of a higher standard than most all-inclusives in our experience. Highly recommend.

Nous revenons de notre voyage satisfait. Le site est magnifique et le personnel au petit soin pour nous. Nous avons mangé au restaurant a la carte tous les soirs et ils étaient très bon. Les plages sont petites et rocailleuses mais marchez jusqu’à la dernière 'Sunset Cove' le sable de celle-ci est très beau. Nous y retournerions sans hésitation.

Service was bewlow expected standard for a resort. The A la Cart process did not work well. Felt that in order to get service a gratuity was expected.

The food was alright, grounds were nice, rooms were clean but the customer service was pathetic. You asked for something and they looked at you were if you were from another planet. I was very disappointed.

We have just returned from a sunny escape to Jamaica. This was our second visit but our first stay at Grand Palladium. We love the food and this hotel did not disappoint. We recommend the Creole and Italian Restaurants. The Yam cakes are a must! It is a very large resort and so expect to do some walking. We requested a room close to the lobby and were very close to all amenities. It is a family resort so we spent a lot of our time at the Adult pool and beach. It was over croweded so arrive early to get a lounger. There are a number of activies to take part in as well as beaches, bars and pools to visit. We participated in the zip linging and tubing excursions and had a great time. My husband went golfing and enjoyed the course and mountain ocean views. Some downfalls to our stay were lack of staff and poor nightly entertainment. We will return to Jamaica but would prefer a smaller resort. However, this resort is great for families.

My husband and I have been to jamaica once before but have never stayed at this resort. i cant say enough about the grand palladium lady hamilton. We were impressed with the front desk staff how pleasent and friendly they were. Our room was very nice and the housekeppers did a beautiful job when cleaning. The staff at this resort always stopped and said hi and always asked your your day was going. The entertainment was good. The buffets were good, different theme every night so it wasnt the same thing over and over. This resort is very large but it doesnt take that long to walk from one end to the other. The have a shuttle that will come get you if the walk is to much, that is great. The pools very well mantained and the beaches were always clean. My husband and I had a great vacation here and i would come back in a heart beat. Great resort !!!!!

This hotel is beautiful and huge but you never felt crowded, lovely meals, great restaurants, helpful courteous staff. I never felt the need to leave the resort. Enjoyed being able to snorkel off the beach, only thing I didn't enjoy is I gained weight there despite the exercise.

Etant des grands voyageurs(2 à 3 voyages par année)notre expérience au grand palladium lady hamilton a été un peu décevante. Une chance que nous étions en club impérial avec vacances air transat et que nous pouvions réserver nos restos à la carte, sinon, il est difficile de manger à la carte, beaucoup d'attente. Le buffet n'est pas très varié. C'est notre première expérience en jamaique et notre dernière. Les jamaicains ne sont pas un peuple chaleureux et le service est très moyen.
La chambre est très bien et nous avons appécié la cafetière disponible, mais la propreté laisse à désirer, on ne peut pas se promener pied nu dans la chambre.
Nous avons fait l'excursion à Négril, très belle plage et après, ils nous ammènent au Rick café voir les plongeurs et le coucher de soleil WOW, très beau spectacle, mais si vous voulez prendre une cossomation, c'est très dispendieux(deux verres de vin,23.00$ us). C'est la première fois que j'écris un commentaire sur un site, mais nos attentes étaient plus grandes, aller à la Jamaique, c'était un grand rêve, comme aller à St-Martin, que nous avons très aimé. Nous sommes content d'avoir vu ça, mais c'est très cher payé et nous avons l'impression de pas en avoir pour notre argent.

We had a fabulous time. This was our second trip to Jamaica, but our first to the Grand Palladium. This resort is huge! The grounds are well laid out and impeccably manicured. The staff was very friendly and very efficient, filling out any request promptly. There are so many options for the vacationer - 4 beaches (1 for adults only), 7 a la carte restaurants, 3 buffets, 12 bars. You never have to go too far for anything. The rooms were very clean and the maid staff were very thorough.

Hotel was average. Rooms lacked proper AC and were slightly musty. Staff was friendly and food was good but not great. Service was hit or miss, we had great and we had very slow. Overall it was just ok.

Hôtel merveilleux, très chic. Le personnel est souriant et sympathique. 7 resto à la carte illimités sont un gros plus (qualité de la nourriture). Internet sans fil gratuit dans le lobby. Énorme piscine. Seul bémol si on doit en trouver un, c'est que les 3 plages sont petites et il y a par endroit des coraux (NB: avec des souliers de plage= aucun problème!). Nous y retournerions n'importe quand!

Nous avons passé une semaine exceptionnelle à tout point de vue.

Température idéale dans un site enchanteur avec un service hors de l'ordinaire.

À notre arrivée une chambre au rez-de-chaussée nous avait été réservée nous avons donc immédiatement demandé pour avoir une chambre au 3e étage et c'est avec plaisir que la dame de la réception nous a donné une autre chambre. Le lendemain matin je m'apperçois que la chambre située à côté de la nôtre avec vue sur la mer est libre, alors je demande à la dame de la réception s'il était possible de changer de chambre, elle me répond qu'il n'y a pas de problème, mais que celle-ci est avec deux lits plutôt qu'un lit king et c'est pourquoi elle nous avait donné l'autre chambre. Après réflexion faite nous choisissons la vue sur la mer et moins de trois plus tard nous étions installés dans notre nouvelle chambre avec vue sur la mer.

La nourriture était variée, nous n'avons pas mangé deux fois la même chose dans la semaine à l'exception du fameux poulet JERK de la Jerk's Hut et c'était par choix.

Il était facile de pratiquer des activités nautiques à la plage Sunset cove, tels que petit catamaran, pédalo et kayak (aucune limite de temps par jour).

Les restaurants à la carte sont illimités et aucune réservation est requise.

Il est facile d'avoir accès à internet au Lobby.

Bref, il n'y a rien de compliquer à cet hôtel.

Les chambres sont très spacieuses et très propres. Nous étions dans la villa numéro 40 située près de la plage et loin du bruit, comme nous l'avions demandé.

En résumé, nous recommandons sans hésitations cet hôtel.

We had a great time. We travelled with 2 children 7 and 8 and the Kids Club was great. Patroy at the front desk was amazing if there was a anything you needed he would help. He set up a meeting with the chef and the grounds keeper. The dinning was the best as we ate at all of the restaurant and we where not disappointed. The Grand Palladium Lady Hamilton is one of the many that I have travelled to from this Hotel chain. I have never been disappointed with them and what a fantastic time we had. If you are thinking of travelling to another hotel give the Palladiums a try you will not be dissappointed.

The resort was huge, beautiful, and clean. Staff were friendly and helpful, and always said hello and smiled even in passing.

We weren't bothered by outside vendors once as at other resorts, although they came to the hotel on a designated night.

The food was great, with lots of different a la cartes to choose from. You could get something to eat or drink 24/7. Plenty of bars as well.

There were different beaches and pools to choose from, including an adults only area. The main pool is divided into sections, and is beautiful. Lots of chairs at the beach and pool, with plenty of shade if desired. The pools have loungers built in so you can lounge in the water.

Although the place is huge, you really don't have to walk very far to get what you need. The resort was beautiful and well kept - although it isn't that old. We had a problem with our safe, and they came and fixed it immediately.

In doing upkeep and groundskeeping, staff would always stop as soon as they saw you coming and wait until you passed before continuing.

It is fairly close to Montego Bay, so it was nice to not have to ride the bus for hours. Also close to many attractions, so that saved travel time on excursions as well. (5 minutes from Dolphin Cove)

We loved it and will definitely go back.

Piscine extraordinairement grande. Staff proactif, souriant : tout le monde te dit bonjour. Paysage merveilleux de partout.
