 My stay on march 15/11

I took one week vacation pkg to this resort on march 15/11.This resort is very private and quite but after few days it is very boring in there.Beach is so lonely and small so there is no long walk on the beach.Food is good and more than acceptable.Pool gril and restaurant are great for lunches.Staff have language barrier but managebale and frindly.Nite time entertainment sucks and even beach activites are next to nothing. Some rooms on the front buildings are small and definately need small fridges and coffee machines in each rooms. Our building air condition had mechanical problems so it was kind of hot in there so perhaps they should put some table fans or ceiling fans in each room.Out of 10 i would say this resort is 6 point.I would not go there again due to the beach issue. It kind of away from everything. Definately need to have strong legs to go or walk on the climbing walkways from the beach to anywhere in the resort. Tram is always problem and very slow...For people with walking and health issue this resort is not good...Too much climbing and coming down...whole property is made in a ditch..The management should check out people according to the flight departure not in the middle of the day and let customers sit on the beech or in lobby for 5-6 hours in waiting.we checked in 8 pm but had to leave room 12noon for 8pm flight.so late check in is ok but late check out is not allowed.Really didnt understand what is the customer fault is flight is delayed.

 GOOD VALUE

Had a very good room 2544 beautiful views close to lobby and restaurants and even got wifi on balcony where others had to go to lobby. If you have problems walking this might not be for you. They have a tram but still lots of stairs to climb if you go to pool or beach. Even I had a problem with all the climbing it is very steep from beach pool area to even the first or second buildings. Breakfast was the best meal of the day lunch was lousy and dinner was fine. Same foods most days and the Bahia restaurant is not open for lunch so you have to go all the way down to the pool for lunch or snacks. Staff is extremely friendly and hotel manager and all department heads were introduced and offered any assistance possible. No one hounded you at this resort for tips or tours or anything else. Pool was nice and clean and warm and many people and kids were in it all day. Beach is swimmable and calm but very very small maybe 150 yards wide only. There are kayaks available and are fun. There are lots of games and activities going on all day in the pool area water polo soccer volleyball aqua exercise etc. drinks flowing freely alcohol or not. Everyone talks to each other and mingling was great. All age groups here which was fantastic from young families with new babies, kids, teens, 20's, 30,s all ages and we all talked together and got to know each other. Pool bar is good meeting area. Lots of chairs and seating at pool and beach and towels but don't lose your towel keys as they charge a high fee for replacement. Also a safe in the room for a charge of $1 (one dollar) per day. You cannot really walk to anything as it is in a private area but there are cabs and even a boat at the beach that will take you across the bay to the public beach and other hotels for a negotiated fee. We had a good time but we would not go back because we would prefer to try other places but you could not beat the price. Very clean resort.

Nice place Great staff good value

More than expected from resort. Rooms should have refrigerators, alarm clocks and maybe better pillows.

 Best view!

The hotel was fairly quiet during the week with most visitors coming for the weekend from Mexico city. Very clean and well maintained grounds. The food was decent and the selection of drinks brands is better than at most hotels in this class. Good secure location in upscale residential neighborhood with unbeatable views across the bay; short ride to downtown action (~10 min walk to bus stop; or taxi right outside of hotel for extra $). Good for a relaxing vacation; not a party hotel; no nightly entertainment during the week (except live local band on some nights in the lobby) but then we found the city itself was pretty quiet on week nights and most bars/clubs were empty.

 Review

Nice experience. They aimed to please,
the hotel staff were cleaning the grounds all the time. It was staffed fully despite being slow. The food was also enjoyable and different every day. Drinks were well poured. I went with my 4month old daughter and was relieved at the level of safety. It was on the quiet west side of acapulco bay and very private, whereas the party revelers are on the east side of the bay. So that should help you decide if you want to be right in the action or if you prefer to be off from it but still accessible then this hotel is great for you
