Beautiful beach and... that's it.
We've been in that hotel few years ago. It was called Husa Cayo, different owner. And this was really 4.5 star hotel. Good food, very clean, lot of nice staff and guests. Now, I will give 2.5 star. Half of the old hotel is a ghost town, empty rooms in bungalows, you can see lots of garbage in the rooms. Terrible food, you can have slices of sausage for breakfast, same for lunch and you can see the same old sausage for dinner from breakfast, refreshed on the pan. When any meals was starting, all dinning room staff and waitresses was gathered at the entrance and applauding entering guests... it was shocking and confusing experience. Long lineups to cooks and food. Rooms and amenities needs general updates. Beach towels suppose to be navy blue, lots of them were discolored. Beach chairs broken, dirty and discolored. Many, many examples. Too many. Hallway fixtures in the bungalows rarely had protection glass. Beautiful beach. You can always find perfect spot for yourself. Paul
