Grenada
We booked our Air travel, accommodation at The Radisson Grenada Beach Resort and transfers from the airport to the resort through airline vacations site. On arriving in Grenada, airline's Representative at the airport did not have our names on the list of passengers to be transferred to the resort. We presented our booking documents and the representative made a phone call and the matter was resolved. Check-in at the resort did not go smoothly either, as we were told our room was not ready because it was being cleaned. We checked back an hour later and got the same excuse and sought help from the resort manager Carlene who stored our luggage and suggested we go to dinner to give them time to complete cleaning our room. We returned to the check-in desk after dinner, which was then about three hours since our initial checking in attempt and were told that our room was still being cleaned, and that led us ask if our room was being cleaned or being built. That was too much to take and we demanded a room even if it was an upgrade to the honeymoon suite, and strange enough we were assigned a room immediately. [Details]

The strong points
Staff was courteous and friendly. The facility was attractive, clean and quiet, and grounds were well maintained. Tap water quality (TDS Water Quality Tester) was as good as or better than the bottled water provided in our unit and the bottle
The weak points
Staff is slow in getting things done. Resort requested $1,200 EC tab on credit card. Breakfast was expensive. Sometimes had to remind cleaning staff to clean bathtub and provide bath towels
