Quiet getaway

We enjoyed our stay at Coyaba. The rooms were clean and we had a balcony. The location is excellent. Located on Grand Anse beach and walking distance from several restaurants, banks and a mall. [Details]

The strong points

The staff is very attentive. There was local food on the menu and in the buffet. The cocktail menu was delicious. Clean beach.

The weak points

Entertainment on only three nights. Not much to do when there is no entertainment.

Exceptional staff from Front Desk Reception Personnel to Housekeeping Staff, Garden Workers and Security Personnel one could not have asked for better. Courteous, friendly and well trained staff. Loved the colours of uniforms the various staff wore, very complimentary to the hotel settings. Would highly recommend the Restaurant Manager who saw that dining room details were well taken care of. The strong points

Well trained, courteous staff. Beautiful gardens. Loved the layout of the resort. Safe environment, made us feel safe at all times.

The weak points

Limited places to eat during the day and too few evening dining facilities. Would have enjoyed a wider selection and choice of meals. More nightly entertainment would definitely have been appreciated. No Canadian TV Channels.

We enjoyed every minute at Coyaba. Coyaba means heaven or paradise and it truly is a little bit of heaven.The staff there were amazing - friendly, courteous, pleasant and made you feel so very welcome.The resort is very clean, beautiful and well maintained. The beach is incredible and there were always chairs available to sit in the sun or the shade. The staff, all of them, seemed very proud of their island (and they have every right to be) but they also were obviously proud of the resort and made every effort to ensure we had a comfortable, relaxing stay. I highly recommend Coyaba Beach Resort. It is wonderful in every way. [Details]
