We definitely will be back to this resort with our family next time

I enjoyed my stay at your facility. The beach was clean and comfortable, the staff were helpful and friendly. On a future trip, I may upgrade my room for a better view. However, I enjoyed sitting on the balcony watching the watersliders one afternoon and appreciated they were only open during the day. Great place for kids with, a beach, pools, and water park. Buffet on the lawn was a hit.

My experience at your Royal Decammeron Caribbean Club resort, Runaway Bay, St. Annes was horrible and will never return or recommend it to anyone. I have Jamaican background and was very ashamed of your service and bringing friends to your calibre accommodations. I give 1 star for reasons below: 1. Our group of 5 were in a registration line for over 2 hours. We were hot, hungry. exhausted after a long flight and ride to the hotel. 2. We arranged cottages with garden and ocean views close together. We never received those cottages close together. 3. We specifically requested not to be near club but 1 of us were directly beside it, with huge holes in the ceiling, allowing insects inside plus some rodent tearing at one of the wholes to get in. 4. Double-booked cottage - another guest assigned to the same cottage for the same dates. 5. We were in registration so long lunch was almost over. We asked to keep restaurant open a little longer due to resort delays bit were refused. We had approx 15mins to get there and all was left was warm juice and water and warmed over fries. Cook refused to provide more food. 6. Unfriendly and non-aupportive staff. 7. Unfriendly and very defensive management. No cooperation or proper assistance with issues. 8. Food Supply - Buffet ran out of essential stables of food every meal. Even going early food was cold and unappetizing! Jamaica is known for its food and spices and the food was terrible with hamburgers and hotdogs seeming to be main meals. 9. Locks on cottages weren't secure. 10. Had to put towels around door frame due to huge gaps. 10. Decided to move to a better secure resort in Ocho Rios but management basically held us hostage by trying to keep our cancelation fee, no transport assistance and no effort to correct our poor accommodations. 11. Overbooked - Found out after we booked out that your resort had a special overnight fee for locals, that clashed with vacation packages so were overbooked. 12. Food areas constantly messy and fly-infested. 13. Management took their time booking us out as to perhaps delay us in changing our minds to leave. We helped process our own papers to hasten the process to escape your resort. 14. We made the best choice to leave your unfriendly, non-supportive and low-level energy from the entire staff. People were complaining the whole day of lack of assistance but noone tried to make a positive difference.
