Well I would not stay at a Riu again. Its our second try and same issues. The noisy hallways that echo when people are walking is crazy. The lounge same problem very loud , buffet ,the acoustics of the whole place. Even the entertainment was hard to understand what they were saying . The food was terrible nothing was ever hot just cold or luke warm. Somethings under cooked and others over. Lots of people we talked to said the samething. Very disappointing.

Belle expérience. Hôtel tjs propre et staff tjs entrain de nettoyer. Check in rapide. Grand waterpark pas bcp attente. Variété de nourriture et générosité au buffet et aux restaurants. On trouve tjs une place ouverte pour manger si on se reveille tard. Welcoming staff et ne se plaint jamais. même si on arrive qq minutes avant la fermeture du buffet, ils te laissent passer.

On arrival at Catalonia we did not get the bedding configuration that we requested. Staff did not accommodate and told us to return every day to see about a new room. The door person walked our family to the center of the resort and pointed to a building and walked away. We were tired and had no idea where our room was. I wasted 2 more days standing at the lobby to wait and ask for a new room. Very dissatisfied with the costumer service. The hotel finally had our room on day three and they told us to be ready to move at 1pm. We packed up three kids and got ready to move only to be told the room was still not ready and to wait until 3pm. I feel like this waisted another whole day, just waiting at the resort to move. We were threatened, if we were not ready we would lose the room. I would not recommend this resort due to bad costumer service at the front desk. We would have to track down housekeeping most days, some days they would leave 1 liter of water for a family of 5. The buffet food was lacking. It never changed and was the exact same food every day.

Everything about PH Cancun is perfect. the only imperfect part was not staying longer! The staff all incredible, kind and helpful. The restaurants are a delight and you feel like you are at 5 star restaurants every-time. The GYM is out of this world with the most up to date equipment, space and multiple arrays of classes offered daily by professionals. The grounds, there are words. All is beautifully up-kept. Pools and vars and all outdoor amenities fun, clean and available! Spa service and massages as you expect and hope for. Rental of poolside cabanas awesome! Outdoor pool entertainment like no other. Evening entertainment always a spectacular to be seen. There is always something for everybody anytime. We were celebrating out 10 year marriage anniversary. Next time we bring the kids to enjoy kids club, movies, mini put, lazy river, crazy large indoor trampoline park and arcade and splatter art, and amazing kiddie pool with pirate ship and water park and slides and more!

We spent a wonderful week at The Finest for our first family vacation! We stayed in a Finest Club Swim Up Junior Suite, which was perfect since our youngest still takes 2 naps a day. We had an issue with where our room was (very little sun), and Victor at the Finest Concierge desk moved us the next day. We are so grateful he was able to accommodate us, we were very happy with the new room (Building 5, facing the main pool). The Finest Club section on the beach was our favourite spot. There was always a bed available, the staff working there were so attentive and friendly- especially Isabel. I've never experienced service like that at an all inclusive resort. All the restaurant staff were lovely as well, very accommodating to our needs. The whole resort is so family friendly, without being over the top about it. We visited the kids club with our 4 year old daughter, and she was in heaven on the slides and splash pad area. All of the kids “cocktails” and shows were a hit as well. We were able to experience the Mexican Fiesta night on the terrace. Our 4 year old was completely in awe of everything. I was really touched to see the staff engaging so much with the kids at the games, face painting etc. Thank you for such a fun evening! The Spa- my husband and I both did the Hydrotherapy sessions that come with booking a Finest Club room and it was so relaxing. I wish we booked a service as well. We can't wait to visit again, maybe even without the kids :)

The hotel was pumping out wedding parties and sales for upgrades and memberships like that was their main focus. There were atleast 8-10 weddings during our week stay. Screaming:singing partying till 3 and 4am made for restless sleeps and tired kids. The entertainment staff were wonderful and probably the best part of the stay. The set up of the hotel didn't allow for the wedding functions to not completely interrupt or intrude on all the other vacationers

This was our 2nd time to the resort. Exceptional friendly staff throughout the resort who try their very best to ensure you have a great vacation. Lots of activities available if you want to participate. The resort is like new and well maintained. The food was excellent. Bonus to have access to restaurants at Dreams next door. Gaucho Grill was excellent! Great never to make reservations for any of the restaurants or having to wear a wrist band. House wines were decent. Entertainment was excellent. Plenty of talented live music and the evening shows were great. The beach is perfect for walking long distances and was clear of seaweed unlike the Mayan Riviera which unfortunately gets tons more washing up.

I didn't like having to sign the bill for each meal or drink even on the all inclusive package
